Limited Editioned Books: Often thought of with poetry or chapbooks, making a limited number of books exactly the same. These may be printed with visual elements only, structural elements only, text elements only or in combinations of. Prose, poetry, etc. may be incorporated as text, computer generated, letterpress printed, cut -n- paste,  copier printed, etc.  Typically paper, printing, binding are all the same in each book in the edition. Artist's Books

Explore the many facets of Artists' Books. By definition, with Artist's Books it is often said, "if you call it a book, it's a book."   In this format you utilize your personal strengths in making a visual or written statement and stretch your working abilities with book structures as art. Create unique works incorporating a theme or message of your choice, not just blank pages. Most are stand alone, one-of-a-kind pieces, variable editions are possible.  Allowing for exploration, construction, gluing if necessary, etc. this may vary in time required by the project envisioned.

Binding those special occasion cards into a commemorative book is sure to please. Using a form of Coptic binding you will learn how to sew them together. Create a hardcover book with a unique cover to house the greeting cards received for your own or a loved one's special occasion.  Rather than boxing them away, gather them in a book to be shared and cherished for years to come. (You will need to supply the cards!)
